Exclusive to members and their guests, the NYC offers a full service restaurant and bar serving a wide variety of delicious meals and daily specials with a unique Bahamian flare. Children’s menu is also available.
Breakfast is served on Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the full menu, the bar and outdoor patio overlooking the spectacular Montagu Bay feature light fare with a daily 2 for 1 happy hour.
Don’t feel like getting out of the pool, no problem! Experience lunch and dinner at our poolside bar and grill. (Available Saturday and Sunday, June through September). The kids playroom is always open and ready to meet your little ones while mom and dad linger over dinner or drinks.

The Nassau Yacht Club Private Party and Function Policies for Non-Member Guests
Thank you for considering the Nassau Yacht Club (NYC) for your private party or function. As a private club, the NYC maintains the following policies to be adhered to by any Non-Member Guest arranging a private party or function.
The use of NYC facilities is intended to provide a venue for the social activities of Members and Non-Member Guests.
All bookings for private parties and functions at the NYC are subject to the approval of Club Management.
The catering office will be pleased to assist you in organizing your special event and answering any questions.
- Rental Fees
The following rental fees include a maximum of five (5) hours or service. Any additional hour will be charged at $75 + $9.00 VAT per hour.
If a function needs to be moved inside due to inclement weather, the rental fee shall be adjusted in accordance with the new applicable tariff.

- Off-Limits Areas
Non-Member Guests and their guests are limited to the room/space assigned to their group and that has been formally booked for the purposes of their banquet or function.
Non-Member Guests and their guests may not wander freely about the Club. The following areas are off limits:
- The bar
- The restaurant
- The upper deck in front of the bar
- The kitchen
- The docks, including the two concrete docks and the breakwater
- Decorations and Deliveries/Set-up
All displays, posters, banners, etc. cannot be affixed to the walls, floors, ceiling or fixtures of rooms with nails, screws, staples, tape or any substance likely to leave a mark or a hole.
No decoration will be permitted outside of the assigned room or space unless prior arrangements have been made with the catering office.
Due to limited storage space, early set-up and delivery times must be pre-arranged with the catering office. All items not belonging to the NYC must be packed up within twenty four(24) hours of the conclusion of the event. Any items left longer than twenty four (24) hours become the property of the NYC and the NYC is free to dispose of such items.
- Dress Code
Proper decorum will be observed by Non-Member Guests and their guests in the clubhouse and on the Club’s grounds at all times.
Proper attire and shoes must be worn in the clubhouse.
Bathing suits are restricted to the area immediately adjacent to the swimming pool, beach and changing room facilities.
- Publicity
The NYC prohibits media advertising and/or use of the Club’s name or logo in any promotions.
- Parking
Parking space at NYC is limited and is available on a first come first served basis, with priority given to members. Therefore, the NYC does not guarantee the use of its parking lot for Non- Member Guests’ parties or functions.
The security officer in charge will instruct Non-Member Guests where to park. Instructions shall be strictly followed.
Parking on the lawn, blocking other cars/vehicles and/or boats, as well as blocking access to the boat ramp and the eastern dock is prohibited.
- Security
A security officer to service the gate and direct guests to nearby parking for parties or functions is required at a cost of $50 + $6.00 VAT for the 5 hour duration of the event. It will be added to the final invoice of the guest hosting the event. The NYC may decide, in its absolute discretion, that more than one officer is required depending on the number of guests attending.
Under no circumstances should the main gate remain open without a dedicated security officer servicing it and controlling the traffic.
- Room/Space Reservations, Booking of Functions and Damage Deposit
Payment of the full rental fee, damage deposit and signature of the guest hosting the event, agreeing to the present policies, are required in order to secure a date and hold a reservation. The aforementioned rental fee is nonrefundable.
NYC prohibits any subcontracting of Club room/space.
All events shall be planned, details verified and confirmed with the catering office at least seven (7) business days prior to the event.
Arrangements made without prior notice will be restricted in menu and/or service options.
The catering office shall be notified no later than 12 noon one week prior to the scheduled
event of the exact attendance expected.
The full amount of the estimated price of the event shall be paid by Non-Member Guests seven(7) business days prior to the event.
A damage deposit of $400 shall be paid at time of booking. The damage deposit will be returned at the end of the event provided that no damage has been incurred to NYC property, including but not limited to, the banquet hall, the side rooms, parking lot, tables, chairs, restrooms, pool deck, swimming pool, flatware, plates, etc. Should damage have been incurred by any one attending the event, the damage deposit will be withheld until damages can be repaired or replaced. The cost of the repair(s) and replacement(s) will be deducted from the damage deposit and the balance returned. If the repair or replacement cost exceeds the amount of the damage deposit the undersigned Non-Member Guest will be responsible for the difference.
- Gratuity
A fifteen percent (15%) gratuity calculated on food sales will be added to the final invoice.
- Music
Contracted entertainers shall contact the catering office at least one week prior to the event to communicate their setup and technical needs, if any.
Regardless of the time of day, the Non-Member Guest may be required to lower volume levels in the event of noise complaints from members utilizing the Club or from neighbors.
- Food & Beverages
All food and beverage served at the NYC is to be provided by the Club. Exceptions may be made for special occasion cakes and wines for which there will be a service or corkage charge.
Deliveries of special cakes and wines shall be arranged for the day of the event and coordinated with the catering office.
Dinners are served buffet style although the NYC provides staff to serve a head table if required.
Plated dinner service is available at a service fee of $7.00 plus VAT per plate.
Off-premise catering is available.
The catering office will be pleased to supply details and proposals.
A cash bar can be arranged for Non-Member Guests and their guests upon request.
It is the responsibility of the Non-Member Guest to ensure that all persons requesting service of alcoholic beverages are at least eighteen (18) years of age. In the absolute discretion of NYC staff, service may be refused to those who are unable to demonstrate legal age, or who appear visibly intoxicated.
- Rights of NYC Management
NYC reserves the right to inspect and control all private parties, meetings, receptions or other functions being held on its premises. Management reserves the right to stop any function where excessive drinking occurs or that does not abide by present policies.
- Liability and Responsibility
The Non-Member Guest hosting the event is responsible for any damage to the NYC’s premises and property by its guests or independent contractors. NYC shall not assume any responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise, items or articles left in the Club or on Club property prior to, during or following functions, including but not limited to cars and other vehicles parked in the parking lot and their contents.
