The Nassau Yacht Club, with over 400 members including 200 families not only offers extensive sailing and boating activities it is a place where members can come together to unwind after a day at the office, gather with friends over a casual Friday night buffet, relax by the pool and play on the beach with family.
The club also hosts many annual events throughout the year, such as the adult’s and children’s Halloween parties, a visit from Santa, Easter egg hunts, Family theme nights and adult dinner dances.

- Applicants shall be proposed and seconded by two members in good standing.
- All applications shall be posted in the clubhouse for at least 14 days before being submitted to the Management Committee for consideration.
- Please refer the copy of Constitution and Bye-Laws of the Club that is enclosed with the membership application form for more details.

The Yacht Club has private wet and dry dock facilities for the exclusive use of members.
There are three wet docks that will accommodate a total of approximately 60 boats. Maximum length of up to 45 feet, with maximum draft at mean low water of 5 feet. There is capacity for 25 boats of up to 20 feet to be dry stored on trailers and launched through the club ramp.
There is a 3-ton hoist for use by boat owners.
Dinghy sheds accommodate the Club’s fleet of Optimists in addition to private dinghies and kayaks owned by club members.

In any calendar year, Club Members shall not be liable for dry dockage that relates to a sailing vessel of a class sanctioned by the Bahamas Sailing Association, and that is raced in Club authorised events during that year.
